FIELD: underground development of mineral resources, development of massive deposits with utilization of loose material as backfill. SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes division of deposit into steeply deepening layers, successive winning of ore from each layer from below upwards and blocking of developed space with non-solidifying material. Each layer is divided into sector-shaped blocks with angle at vertex calculated mathematically. Bottom heading is run to vertex of each block, ore is excavated within limits of block by means of long stopes with movement of front of breakage face towards upper part of block. On completion of each stope backfill material is added on floor of stope. Thickness of backfill is also computed mathematically. EFFECT: increased labor efficiency. 4 dwg
