FIELD: underground mining, particularly thick deposit development with the use of powder material as filling material.
SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing deposit into steeply inclined layers; dividing each layer into sector-shaped blocks so that haulage horizon passes through each block top; serially excavating ore within the bounds of each block in ascending elongated cuts and pouring filling material on haulage horizon bottom after each cut operation performing. The blocks are formed of two parts, which are adjacent relatively haulage horizon passing through block top and determined from mathematical equations.
EFFECT: reduced volume of preparation work.
