FIELD: mining industry, mechanized fixing of breakage faces in process of underground mining of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: section of powered support includes ceiling, base, hydraulic props, displacement mechanism, at least one side shield mounted for lateral advance with reference to ceiling and fitted on ends with guides arranged in holes of ceiling coupled to side shield by means of hydraulic jack and pressure springs. Guides are fitted with protrusions placed for contact with limiters located on ceiling when side shield is advanced. Hydraulic jack is positioned for turn of shield in process of its advance in case of contact between protrusion of one of guides and limiters around point of this contact. Limiters put on ceiling can be separable. Protrusions of guides can also be separable. EFFECT: effective correction of position of ceiling and section, enhanced operational reliability of extended side shield and section of support. 2 cl, 6 dwg
