FIELD: mining; applicable in powered support of breakage faces in mineral underground mining. SUBSTANCE: powered support unit includes base, guard movable mechanism, roofing with hinged drawing-in cantilevers thereto, rods with face and caving supports and rockers. The latter are installed on roofing for turning and connected from caving side with hydraulic props, and from face side, with caving supports of rods. Face supports of rods are hinged with levers installed on roofing for turning and engagement with drawing-in cantilever. Rods may be located inside roofing made in form of closed box. EFFECT: reduced loads in members of hoisting mechanism of drawing- in cantilever and powered support dimensions, convenient movement of miners in face space, higher strength of box structure of roofing, rejection of rod length control, increased strength of rods. 2 cl, 2 dwg
