FIELD: mining industry, mainly, coal stoping with use of powered hydraulic supports and shearers. SUBSTANCE: powered support includes support units. Each support unit has roofing with rigid guard and face canopy secured for turning by hydraulic jack. Roofing is connected by one prop and two balance beams hinged to rigid guard part of roofing with base connected by means of ram with conveyer having guide girders, systems of control of unloading and advance of support units with advance of conveyer flight to face. Control systems include hydraulic main lines. Powered support is made of paired units. Nose part of bases of each pair are connected by shackle hinged to rod of ram located between bases; ram cylinder has pivots connected with brackets located on tail part of conveyer guide girder. Roofing of each support unit is additionally connected with base located behind hydraulic prop, vertical jack with pilot controlled check valve. Canopy is secured to roofing for turning through angle of about 180 dwg. Hydraulic jack for its turning has pilot controlled check valve and block-pilot controlling head end of hydraulic jack of canopy turning with help of handle engaged with cam of shearer, or with help of shearer operator located on shearer trailer. System of control of unloading and frontal advance of support units group and frontal advance of conveyer to face is made in form of hydraulic main line of thrust or support connected with pilot controlled check valves of all props of face and rod ends of all vertical jacks in face, and three or two hydraulic main lines of frontal advance of support units, respectively, of the first, second and third, or the first and second groups, each of which is connected with head ends of rams of respective group of support units and parallel connected rod ends of canopy hydraulic jacks and control inputs of all pilot controlled check valves of corresponding group of support units. EFFECT: simplified and lightened support unit, reduced width of worked-out space, increased rate of roof support after shearer, excluded unloading of support in zone of shearer operation, provided remote control of support without presence of support operator in stoping face. 4 cl, 4 dwg
