FIELD: heat-exchange processes; chemical, petrochemical and foodprocessing industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed heat exchanger includes sections with intermediate chambers between them where mixing units are mounted; blades of said mixing units are secured on hub and are made in form of trapeziums bent at angle of 90-135 deg. narrowing from center to periphery and having holes whose diameters decrease from center to periphery; square of ratio of diameter of hub to diameter of mixing unit is equal to ratio of lesser base of trapezium to its larger base and length of tube in each section is determined by the following formula: , where L is length of tube; d is diameter of tube; Pr is Prandtl number ; Re is Reynolds number and λ is hydraulic friction coefficient.
