FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of heat engineering and can be used in heat exchange apparatuses for two-phase media. A vertical shell and tube heat exchanger is comprised of a body with a bundle of heat exchange tubes placed therein, a tube sheet, turbulising transverse dividers with segmental notches in the annular space, a lower distribution chamber, nozzles for supply and discharge of heat carrying agents, at the inlet of a two-phase medium at the lower ends of heat exchange tubes protruding into the distribution chamber, in the upper part, near the tube sheet holes are made with a diameter providing a hydraulic resistance in meters of the liquid column not exceeding the length of the tubes below the hole, the distribution chamber is equipped with two nozzles for intake of the gas (vapor) and liquid phases.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and uniformity of distribution of two-phase streams of medium passing through all tubes of the bundle of a heat exchanger and intensified heat transfer process, simplified structure and increased reliability thereof.
