FIELD: measurement technology, nondestructive inspection, ultrasonic tests of materials and articles. SUBSTANCE: procedure includes conversion of ultrasonic signal to electric signal, commutation of electric signal to isolate its second half-period, unipolar amplification of electric signal and recording of ultrasonic signal by front of received pulse. EFFECT: simplified design of receiving-amplifying path of recorder in comparison with analogs with preservation of accuracy of time of recording of arrival of ultrasonic signal. 3 dwg
