FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to the field of liquid mediums flow and may be used in metering devices to measure liquid flow with the help of ultrasound. The invention concept is as follows: ultrasonic wave is radiated by piezoelectric converters along the flow and opposite to it. Received ultrasonic wave is transformed into electric signal. Comparator is used to form a sequence of rectangular pulses with identical amplitude from positive half-waves of electric signal with information on time of passage of both directions by ultrasonic waves. Ultrasonic wave is transformed into sinusoid electric signal so that its first half-wave is always positive. In flow metre of the first version electric signal after passage of reception-amplification track is inverted. According to the second version one of piezoelectric converters is connected to according inlets-outlets of controlled commutator by electrode of opposite polarity relative to the other converter.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of liquid mediums flow measurement by elimination of error specified by Doppler effect.
