Abstract RU 2219564 C2

FIELD: automatics, technical cybernetics, development of systems of automatic analysis and classification of images. SUBSTANCE: achievable technical result of invention consists in increased probability of correct detection of target thanks to taking object with highest thermal nonuniformity of surface characteristic of objects of transportation in state of movement and soon after stoppage in the capacity of target in contrast to more uniform thermal fields encountered in natural structures of background objects showing dimensions of target. Mentioned technical result is ensured due to scanning of image of vision field with isolation of target image by scanning window with dimensions conforming to dimensions of target image, by count of number of IR signals with different amplitudes from surface of each isolated object by discrete elements of matrix of signals belonging to image of object and taking object displaying maximum value N for given frame as target. Therefore object with corresponding specified dimensions demonstrating highest nonuniformity of thermal surface and considerable contrast is considered to be target.
