FIELD: electrical engineering; permanent-magnet machines. SUBSTANCE: electric drive has rotor in the form of two shaft-mounted disks with poles disposed over outer circumference and cylindrical magnet fitted between disks and magnetized in axial direction so that one disk carries like poles, their polarity being reverse to that of poles disposed on other disk; and stator in the form of coils distributed over circumference; rotor poles in first alternative of drive are formed by teeth provided on outer circumferences of both disks and disposed in planes perpendicular to drive axis, poles of stator coils being arranged for face interaction with rotor poles; in second alternative one or both disks in each rotor section are of plate shape and rotor poles are formed by teeth disposed over outer circumferences of both disks in same plane perpendicular to drive axis, poles of stator coils being disposed for face interaction with rotor poles.
