FIELD: radio engineering; protecting information from drain through process channels. SUBSTANCE: proposed method for isolating information drain process channels is characterized in that medium of probable location of information drain process channel is sounded by space-isolated superbroadband pulse signal at sequential discrete scanning step. In the course of scanning variations in amplitude- and phase-frequency responses exceeding statically set threshold values are detected. These variations and respective images of information drain process channels are analyzed for compliance with probable variations in images and capabilities of information drain process channels are evaluated by observing their characteristics at the same time spatially comparing signs of presence of frequency response images with visual images of probable information drain process channels, this spatial comparison being used as basis for taking decision on isolating information drain process channels. EFFECT: enhanced security in isolating radiating and nonradiating items of information drain process channels invisible in quasihomogeneous medium. 9 cl, 2 dwg
