FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the suggested innovation deals with prophylaxis and treatment of patients with affected hormonal status after cardiosurgical interference. For this purpose, after operation upon an open heart one should detect the level of thyroid hormones and toxic peroxide metabolites and at their progressing decrease one should inject thyreoidin and vitamin E per 5 mg/kg on the 1st-3d d after operation, then the dose should be decreased up to 2.5 mg/kg to continue therapy during the next 5 d. The method provides decreased dosage of cardiotonic preparations. EFFECT: higher efficiency of cardiotonic therapy. 3 ex
