FIELD: thermal power equipment and pipe line transport; cleaning cavities from deposits. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes motion of flow along pipe line by means of cleaning unit, forming jets by this unit, breaking deposits by jets and removal of deposits from pipe line by this flow; during forming of jets, they are acted on by electric current pulses at release of considerable amount of energy which acts on deposits in form of shock waves vibrating lugs of cleaning unit. Device proposed for realization of this method includes shaft on which hubs are mounted; hubs are provided with elastic lugs secured on them in staggered order. Shaft is made in form of coaxial cable connected to current pulse generator. EFFECT: increased specific breaking force; enhanced flexibility of device. 11 cl, 3 dwg
