FIELD: building, in particular, manufacture of plastic reinforcing members for reinforcing of building concrete constructions, that can also be used in bearing built-up constructions as structural material for replacement of metal and wooden products. SUBSTANCE: rod is obtained by impregnation of glass-fiber roving with polymeric binder based on epoxide dian resin containing isomethyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride as a cutting agent and triethanolamine as a hardening accelerator. Composition of components in the rod: filler - 60-80%, isomethyltetrahidrophyhalic anhydride 10-20%, triethanolamine -0.01- 0.09%, resin the rest. Thermohardening of the rod is accomplished at 120 to 140C by pulling of glass-fiber roving impregnated with binder through two thermal chambers with an infrared radiator and through a thermostatting chamber during 180-240s. EFFECT: expanded source of raw material for manufacture of glass plastic reinforcement enhanced strength of it and simplified rod manufacturing methods. 1 tbl
