FIELD: automotive industry; passive safety devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed seat has rigid skeleton containing headrest with side lobes hold head, cushion with armrests, and squab with side lobes for child chest. Seat skeleton is enclosed in casing strictly corresponding to configuration of seat. Rigid skeleton is made folding along lines of bending between members of rigid skeleton, and casing proper is made airtight with possibility of inflating and folding after deflating. Air space of airtight casing is divided into two parts, first one consists of headrest with its side lobes and second one consists of cushion with armrests and squab with side lobes connected with first one by direct-acting air valve which opens in case of rear collision of automobile to displace air into first space, thus increasing volume of headrest and its side lobes to protect back and neck of child from injuries. EFFECT: possibility of folding of seat to occupy minimum space in trunk after deflating. 4 dwg
