FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents an autoclave device and a method to evaporate uranium hexafluoride. The autoclave device includes: a body with a lid, that may be opened; the container for uranium hexafluoride, that should be placed inside the device body with possibility to be replaced with another one, and which should be filled with uranium hexafluoride subjected to evaporation; members to open and close the container with uranium hexafluoride; a system to heat uranium hexafluoride; an outlet pipe connected with the members for opening and closing the lid of the container and intended to lead evaporated uranium hexafluoride out of the container. The lid and the body of the autoclave device form the high pressure vessel. There is a system of heating of the container with uranium hexafluoride that contains the water tank and the heating elements located in the lower part of the device body. Uranium hexafluoride first is melted down, and then evaporated with the help of steam. EFFECT: the invention ensures the safe and reliable solution for the way to increase a yield of uranium hexafluoride vapor. 20 cl, 1 dwg
