FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing tert.-alkane hydroperoxides by liquid-phase oxidation of hydrocarbon with oxygen- -containing gas. Oxidation process is carried out at temperature 50- 200 C and under pressure 1.0-10 MPa in the presence of a stabilizing addition. The latter is a mixture containing nitrile trimethylphosphonic acid or oxyethylidene diphosphonic acid and organic amine taken among hexamethylenediamine, hexamethylenetetramine, triethanolamine, pyridine, 2-methyl-5- ethylpyridine, morpholine, quinoline and carbamide in their mole ratio = 0.9-1.2 and taken in the amount 0.001-1.2 wt.-% of hydrocarbon to be oxidized. Stabilizing addition is used as an aqueous solution in the concentration of basic substance 10-70%. Invention provides increasing rate formation of tert.-alkane hydroperoxides and improvement of process technology due to using above indicated stabilizing additions which are soluble in reaction medium.
