FIELD: mechanical engineering; closed-cycle rotary engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine contains rotor installed in cylindrical space of housing with formation of working medium compression and expansion chambers. Housing space and rotor are divided by radial partition into two sequential volumes and two parts, respectively. According to invention engine contains working medium heater and its cooling radiator. Three channels are made in housing along cylindrical space. First and second channels, to let working medium into compression chamber from radiator and let it out of expansion chamber into radiator, communicate, each, with its chamber through crescent-shaped slots located along arcs forming spaces of length up to 120o, and third channel divided, like space, by radially installed partition into two sections communicating through longitudinal slots with compression chamber and expansion chamber, respectively. Section of third channel forms, along compression chamber, a channel to deliver working medium into heater and section along expansion chamber forms channel to return working medium from heater. EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine in operation. 4 cl, 4 dwg
