FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compressing facilities designed for delivering gases under high pressure. Proposed compressor contains opposite rigidly connected cylinders with intake and outlet valves. Pistons are secured on common rod. Limit switches secured on end faces of cylinders are made in form of rods and are interconnected through actuating mechanism of distributing device. Pump is connected with cylinder spaces through distributing device. At reciprocating of pistons alternate changing over of distributing device from one position to other is provided, thus pumping gas from one main to the other at higher pressure. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability in operation. 7 cl, 6 dwg
