SUBSTANCE: heat generator that can be used in oil and gas industries for heating gas, oil, and other hydrocarbon materials through intermediate heat-carrying agent has vertical housing accommodating combustion chamber mounted in its top part and made in the form of two concentrically positioned cylinders and heat-transfer apparatus with central channel formed by annular rows of vertical pipes equally spaced apart and used to provide communication between combustion chamber interior and exhaust pipe; central channel accommodates additional U-shaped heat-transfer apparatus with working medium inlet and outlet; housing inner space is filled with intermediate heat-carrying agent; annular partition with top and bottom channels passing intermediate heat-carrying agent is mounted around additional heat-transfer apparatus; heat line is passed through exhaust pipe for gas heating.
