FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: air heaters using pipes intended for space heating, mainly in the field, by burning liquid hydrocarbon fuels. The portable air heater contains a heat-transfer tube surface, consisting of interconnected cast-iron sections of the heating battery, installed and fixed on the support legs with intersection clamps. One of the extreme sections of the battery is equipped with an inlet fitting for installing a burner device into it with a valve for turning on and regulating fuel consumption, and the opposite section at the top is equipped with an outlet fitting for installing a chimney in it, made as a team of sections mated with a coupling by means of an angled pipe and lock nuts.
EFFECT: reduction of the cost of manufacture, reliability in operation and increasing the efficiency of the air heater due to the intensive convective heat exchange of air.
