FIELD: cooling equipment, particularly tanks for long-term storage of biological, food and other products in cryogenic liquid. SUBSTANCE: tank comprises inner and outer cases, supplying and drainage pipelines. Contained made of capillary-porous material in installed into inner case concentrically thereof. Heat-shielding gap is formed between container and inner case walls. Drainage pipeline communicates with heat- shielding gap. Distribution means installed at supplying pipeline outlet communicates with container and heat-shielding gap through connecting pipes. Flow areas of connecting pipe linked with container and of connecting pipe communicated with heat-shielding gap are accordingly proportional to container volume and heat-shielding gap volume. EFFECT: increased product storage life, decreased coolant consumption by rapid product cooling-down and tank filling with coolant. 1 dwg
