FIELD: cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adsorption pumps designed for maintaining vacuum by absorbing molecules of gases from closed spaces. Proposed adsorption pump has doublewalled chamber with cooling agent, heat insulation and adsorbent placed in their wall space of chamber. Cooling unit is arranged in layers of adsorbent over perimeter of chamber and made in form of screw- channel heat exchanger. Spaces of screw channels of heat exchanger are filled with capillary porous material, for instance, capillary porous titanium. Inlet and outlet of screw channel heat, exchanger communicate with chamber space in its lower and upper zones. Chamber has filling pipeline, drain pipeline and evacuation valve. EFFECT: provision of continuous operation owing to stabilization of cooling of adsorbent at temperature of cooling agent liquid phase. 1 dwg
