FIELD: cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for maintaining vacuum by absorption of molecules of gases in closed volumes. Adsorbent and heat insulation are placed in interwall space of double-wall container. Adsorbent is secured on inner wall. Corrugated envelope made of capillary porous material is secured on inner surface of inner wall in container. Spaces are formed between inner wall and corrugations of envelope. Invention provides considerable reduction of expanses owing to improved efficiency of cooling of adsorbent and, consequently, improving evacuation characteristics.
