METHOD FOR FIXING FREE AND REPLACED CUTANEOUS TRANSPLANTS AT PLASTIC SURGERY IN ORBITAL AND PARAORBITAL AREAS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, plastic surgery. SUBSTANCE: one should remove a neoplasm or dissect and divide scars. One should prepare either free or replaced full-layer cutaneous transplant with configuration similar to that of a defect available. Then one should cover area of cutaneous defect with either replaced or free full-layer cutaneous transplant. Then it is necessary to perform additional applying of perforated plates on this zone, their area being higher against the area of cutaneous transplant by 4-26%. One should fix cutaneous transplant along its all plane to underlying tissues with interrupted sutures through the above-mentioned perforated plates. During fixation one should carry out additional redistribution of transplant's tissue tension to weaken the loading onto area of wound's edges. Wound'' edges are sutured with interrupted sutures through perforated plates followed by their removal on the 4th - 6th d after operation conducted. The method enables to obtain adequate adjacency of cutaneous transplant to underlying tissues and create optimal conditions for drainage. EFFECT: higher efficiency of fixation. 4 cl, 2 ex
