FIELD: chemical, pharmaceutical and food-processing industries; construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed mixer has vertical cylindrical housing with cover and taper bottom, circulating pipe which movable vertically and is provided with swirling unit at its upper end. Located along height of mixer are tubular and housing shields made in form of inverted truncated cones. Tubular shields are provided with bottoms, forming closed under-shield cavities. Walls of circulating pipe adjacent to under-shield cavities are permeable for gas flow; walls of tubular shields are provided with tangential holes. Mounted in lower portion of bottom coaxially relative to circulating pipe is nozzle. Taper attachment narrowing upward is provided at lower end face of circulating pipe. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities; enhanced efficiency of mixing process. 3 dwg
