HOT ROLLING MILL Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2220799 C2

FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: hot rolling mill includes at least one reversing rolling stand and coilers arranged in front and after said reversing rolling stand. Coilers have drive units with controlled torque. Between each coiler and reversing rolling stand one looper is arranged; said looper may generate real values for controlling tension. Loopers may form real values for controlling mass flow due to regulating torque of coilers. EFFECT: possibility for optimally suppressing variations of tension and(or) mass flow caused by changes of process parameters. 6 cl, 1 dwg
