FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes continuous casting of thin slab (11) with thickness from 25 mm to 50 mm, with speed in range from 3.5 m/min to 6 m/min. Rough rolling of the thin slab is performed in rough rolling cage mill (20, 20a, 20b) to reduce thickness to 6-40 mm, quick induction heating, reeling and unreeling is performed in device (34) for reeling and unreeling, equipped with two cores, rolling in reversive Steckel mill (22) by maximum five runs at four reverse runs with manufacturing of the final product with approximate thickness from 1.4 mm to 10 mm, preferably from 1.4 mm to 8 mm, cooling and reeling of the final product. The rolling mill comprises the relevant equipment.
EFFECT: compact production of flat bar with thickness 1,4 mm and below, not requiring high expenses.
