FIELD: equipment for electrolysis of copper. SUBSTANCE: cathode is made of rolled copper band of copper kinds according to DIN 1708, 1787, 17670 with thickness 0.3 - 1.2 mm subjected after rolling to partial annealing and having ultimate breaking strength in range 210 - 240 H/sq.mm. Band is cut in such a way that its length and width are matched with size of electrolytic bath. Cut sheets have flat oil-free surface with small number of burrs. At side of suspension strip like lugs made of copper band with thickness 0.3 - 0.6 mm are secured to sheets.
