FIELD: units of packer designed for sealing of tubular annulus of operating wells. SUBSTANCE: packing unit of packer includes elastic collar, core of variable section. Core comes in the form of cylinder with conical inlet part. Upper, inlet part of elastic collar is intended to accommodate conical part of core, relative elongation of sealing collar, when wedged out, does not exceed 1.25- 1.35 initial length if tangential forces from side of column exceeds forces from side of core. EFFECT: secured trouble-free operation of packing unit of packer thanks to prevention of seizure of collar during packer removal. 3 dwg
