FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power plants converting wind and hydraulic energy into electric energy. Proposed wind power generating plant contails sail members secured on vertical axle so that sail area at one side of axle is maximum, and at other side of axle is minimum. According to invention, energy is taken off from one end of axle. Plant has additional vertical freely-on upper and power platforms on which two vertical axles are installed with rigidly secured and radially arranged sail members and sail wedge dividing wind flow and directing it onto outer part of sail rotors. Said rotors and wedge are mounted relative to carrying axle so that point of wedge be always directed opposite to wind flow. EFFECT: simplified design and operation, increased power output. 2 dwg
