FIELD: camouflage, in particular, reduction of noticeability of flight vehicles, applicable for camouflaging of flight vehicles of military designation against the means of optical visual reconnaissance. SUBSTANCE: the method of self-test of visual noticeability of the flight vehicle based on measurement of illuminance of the flight vehicle surface from the upper and lower hemispheres of the environmental space at the given altitude includes an additional measurement of brightness of the sky in the discrete points, calculation of brightness from any directions of environmental space according to the measured values and determination of flight vehicle noticeability in the direction of observation by calculation. EFFECT: enhanced precision of determination of the index of flight vehicle noticeability at simplified technical realization and realization of the forecast of the flight vehicle noticeability index at a probable change of its spatial attitude. 1 dwg
