METHOD OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE EXAMINATION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2221255 C2

FIELD: magnetic resonance visualization of image. SUBSTANCE: method of magnetic resonance examination of specimen, preferably organism of man or animal, includes preparation of hyperpolarized solution of agent with high T1 by solution of hyperpolarized solid specimen of mentioned agent with high T1 in physiologically allowable solvent. Operations of hyperpolarization of solid specimen of mentioned agent with high T1 by means of polarizing agent include: a) separation of all, practically all or portion of mentioned polarizing agent with high T1; b) injection of mentioned hyperpolarized solution into mentioned specimen; c) irradiation of mentioned specimen by second radiator with frequency chosen for excitation of nuclear spin transitions in selected nuclei, for example, in nuclei of magnetic resonance agent with high T1; d) recording of magnetic resonance signals from mentioned specimen and e) winning of image, dynamic data flow, diffusion parameters, perfusion parameters, physiological parameters ( for instance, pH, pO2, pCO2, temperature or ion concentration ) or metabolic parameters from mentioned recorded signals. Mentioned agent with high T1 in mentioned hyperpolarized solution has value T1 ( with field intensity in range 0.01- 5.0 Tm and temperature between 40-and 60 C ) for at least 5.0 s. Formula of invention gives description of composition and contrast medium which are utilized as agent with high time of longitudinal relaxation T1. EFFECT: raised quality of visualization of image. 34 cl, 5 dwg
