FIELD: circuit opening and switching devices. SUBSTANCE: inertia switch has case accommodating contact pairs and inertial body in the form of cylindrical piston and is provided with temperature compensating member. Case is also has central partition disposed between inertial body and contact pairs. Cylindrical drilling of partition houses lock contacting the inertial body and holding contact pairs to prevent their turning. Choke is placed in through channel. Each contact pair is assembled of two sliding contacts and turning bridge coupled through split joint with case partition. Inertia switch is adjusted so that it does not operate at high-frequency vibration impacts in service and in emergency situations and does not open electric circuit upon operation even in absence of working acceleration.
