FIELD: production of toys as means for teaching and psychological relaxation purposes. SUBSTANCE: model toy is made in the form of figure of animal equipped with drive and limbs pivotally attached to body. Figure is composed of flat forming members. Body is made multilayer for simulating bulkiness. Pair of limbs are symmetrically spread apart for rendering thereto functions of double-armed levers, whose supports of rotation are connected to hanger thread ends, said thread being passed in accordance with distance between supports of rotation of levers through slots-cuts of adjusting frame adapted for attachment of model to immovable support. Drive is made in the form of thread fastened along line of center of gravity of figure. Position of supports of rotation is determined from lever equilibrium condition: l1m1 = (l2+d+0,5•D)(m2+0,5•W), where l1,l2 are distances from end of limb to support of rotation and from support of rotation to point of attachment of pivot hinge, respectively; d, D are diameters of pivot hinge and body, respectively; m1,m2 are weights of part of limb from end to support of rotation, and part of limb from support of rotation to pivot hinge attachment point, respectively; W is weight of body.
