FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed drone represents a flying wing design. Drone nose is formed by increase in wing chord provided by larger sweep of leading edge compared with the other section of the wing. Front outline of forward and outboard wings feature identical aerofoil. The latter represents S-like centerline with smaller second curvature of said line at transition to vertical empennage. The latter is formed by turn of end outboard wing parts (end plates). Video hardware unit is mounted on the wing and provided with drive to turn in lengthwise and lateral planes. Said unit comprises at least two video cameras with lenses of different magnification. Said unit incorporates inner and outer frames. Inner frame can turn relative to outer frame. Said lenses are interconnected and articulated with inner frame. Axles of camera drive pivot joints are composed of scissor mechanism. Drone catapult launcher comprises composite box, mount carriage, flexible link to joint said carriage with power supply. Said composite box represents open design and includes cover. It is furnished with guides while carriage has wheels to interact with said guides.
EFFECT: simplified design, reliable in-field operation, higher efficiency.
