FIELD: rolled stock production, namely roller guides with apparatuses for controlling roller rotation, possibly in bar and rod rolling mills with finish rolling stands. SUBSTANCE: roller guide with apparatus for controlling roller rotation. mainly for stands of rod rolling mill includes hollow housing with inlet and outlet openings for passing rolled piece; two jointly mounted in housing double-arm levers with guiding rollers on their ends in outlet portion of housing and unit for automatically controlling roller rotation having roller rotation pickups fixed in common bridge mounted on housing. Each pickup is in the form of reactor with core of ferromagnetic material, two pole shoes (one for each roller) arranged on end of roller in opposite relative to end of core and reactor, unit for processing signals of pickups. On end of each roller arranged opposite relative to core and reactor there are positioning marks defining position of pole shoe of each roller.
