FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: a cooling station of a line of rod rolling mill includes a row of water cooling sections, mounted behind a unit of final rolling stands. Before each water cooling section a roller guide is mounted coaxially with the section. The roller guide has a roll grooved pass, corresponding to a roll grooved pass of the last working stand of the above mentioned unit of the final rolling stands. EFFECT: lowered possibility of occurring of rod defects in the water cooling sections due to increased longitudinal stability of the rod, being rolled. 1 cl, 1 dwg
