FIELD: shipbuilding; building hovercraft breaking ice cover by resonance method. SUBSTANCE: proposed hovercraft has hull with flexible guard and superstructure. Hovercraft is provided with inner and outer guards. Inner flexible guard is made in form of extensible skirt supplied with air from additional high-pressure compressor. Mounted in hovercraft hull is vertical extensible ice drill with water flow passage inside it; this drill is connected to centrifugal pump and is located inside inner flexible guard. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of breaking ice cover by resonance method. 3 dwg
