SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of early unknown quaternary ammonium compounds, N-[alkoxycarbonylethyl]-N-[alkylphenoxypoly(ethyleneoxy)carbonylmethyl] ammonium chlorides. Invention describes new N-[alkoxycarbonylethyl]-N-[alkylphenoxypoly(ethyleneoxy)carbonylmethyl]ammonium chlorides of the general formula: [4-RC6H4O(CH2CH2O)nOCCH2N+R1R2(CH2CHR4COOR3)]Cl wherein: at R C8-C10-alkyl; R1 = R2 is CH3; R3 is C12-C14-isoalkyl; R4 is hydrogen atom; n is an average degree of oxyethylaton = 6; at R C8-C10-alkyl; R1 = R2 is C2H5; R3 is C12-C14isoalkyl; R4 is hydrogen atom; n is an average degree of oxyethylation = 6; at R C8-C10-alkyl; R1 = R2 is C2H5; R3 is C12-C14-isoalkyl; R4 is CH3; n is an average degree of oxyethylation = 10; at R C8-C10-alkyl; R1 = R2 is C2H5; R3 is C8-C10-isoalkyl; R4 is hydrogen atom; n is an average degree of oxyethylation = 6; at R C8-C10,-alkyl; R1 is C17-C20-alkyl; R3 is C8-C10,-isoalkyl; R4 is hydrogen atom; R2-/ is CH2CH2OOCR5 wherein R5 is C8-C10-isoalkyl; n is an average degree of oxyethylation = 6. Compounds show properties of addition agents regulating vasoelastic properties of associated multicomponent petroleum systems. Method for their preparing involves interaction of monochloroacetic acid alkylphenoxypolyethylene glycol in the presence of H+-form of cation-exchange resin, in boiling solvent medium and at azeotropic removing formed water and the following treatment of the prepared product with amines at heating. Compounds can be used for improvement of rheological properties of petroleum dispersions in petroleum and petrochemical industry.
