FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: petroleum-polymer resin particularly suitable in production of varnish-and-paint materials is prepared via catalytic polymerization of fraction 130-190 C of oil feedstock pyrolysis product carried out in presence of 1.5-2% of Badin-deposit zeolite containing klinoptilolite and mordenite minerals and preliminarily subjected to heat treatment for 1-2 h at 150-200 C and pressure 0.2-0.6 MPa.
