FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, design of anode gear of aluminum electrolyzer. SUBSTANCE: given anode gear has fired carbon-graphite anode with recesses in upper plane for feet of current lead steel rod in the form of truncated cone which walls have inclined grooves and steel current lead rod with feet. Anode gear is fitted with conical bushings which upper and lower parts are solid and which central parts are split and have shape of bent plates, their number, dimensions and shape correspond to inclined grooves in recesses of anode, they are intended for fixing of feet of current lead rod in recesses of anode. There are thrust discs made fast to lower parts of rod feet. Upper parts of conical bushings protrude above surface of anode and gap between feet and anode is filled with current conducting crumbs. EFFECT: reduced labor input to winning of aluminum, simplified process of mounting-dismounting of anode-nipple joint, diminished consumption of electric energy. 3 dwg
