FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: anode device of aluminium electrolysis unit contains carbon block, current-carrying rod rigidly fixed in cavities of upper plane of carbon block, and anode suspension the upper ends of which are fixed in pairs on both sides of the rod on the crossbar and made from package of aluminium foil and bunches from glass fabric, which are suspended and attached to aluminium crossbar and rod; package of aluminium foil and bunches of glass fabric are passed from below through rectangular holes in the protrusion of angular baked anode; length, section of package and bunches and their number is determined with process requirements and economics.
EFFECT: reducing material and labour costs for manufacture of aluminium and reducing electric energy consumption.
