FIELD: heat power engineering; boiler plants. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, steam generated in steam boiler is supplied to consumer. Source water is deaerated in vacuum deaerator. For this purpose water heated in heating agent heater is delivered into deaerator, and mineral admixtures accumulated in boiler water are removed from boiler along blow-down water pipeline. Blow-down water is used as heating medium for heating agent heater of vacuum deaerator, and blow-down water after heater of vacuum deaerator heating agent is used as heating medium for source water heater before vacuum deaerator.
