FIELD: fiber optical communication lines resistant to effects of ionizing and ultraviolet radiation. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in image transmitting facilities and Raman fiber lasers and amplifiers. Fiber light guide comprises core, sheath and sealing coat and has from 1•1019 to 5•1021 cm-3 molecules of hydrogen or from 1•1020 to 5•1021 cm-3 molecules of deuterium. In process of fabrication of light guide it is placed after application of sealing coat into gas atmosphere under pressure from 1.0 to 1000.0 MPa and temperature between 20 and 1000 C for the course from 20 min to 100 days. EFFECT: enhanced resistance to effects of ionizing radiation including ultraviolet radiation, gamma radiation, neutron, proton, electron radiation, alpha particles, enlarged Raman scattering. 23 cl, 3 dwg
