Encoded form of distinctive sign is sent to terminal which establishes mentioned distinctive sign. Distinctive sign is ciphered by secret code and is decoded in terminal by means of general code. Decoded distinctive sign is compared with distinctive sign established by terminal and their coincidence establishes authenticity of data carrier.
