FIELD: physics, processing of images.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with technologies used for personal identification documents validation. Cryprographically protected architecture of personal identification documents enables efficient validation of protected personal ID documents with photos thus preventing attempts at forgery and falsification. The ID document referred to contains the holder's photograph and text form personal data and a mathematical compression of the photo and the text based thereupon there is a compact cryptographically signed bar code generated to be read out by means of a standard scanner. The document issue system consists of camera, printer, bar code module and computer device.
EFFECT: enhanced protection against document forgery.
