FIELD: medicine, phytotherapy, pharmaceutical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves using meadow cow-wheat (Metampyrum) dried above-ground part with roots as raw. Raw is milled and extracted with 50% ethyl alcohol, three times by 60 min in the ratio raw extractant = 1:10 in the presence of calcium carbonate in water bath. Alcoholic extracts are combined, alcohol is distilled off, an aqueous residue is evaporated, mixed with polyamide sorbent and added on chromatography column. Column is eluted with water and 50% ethyl alcohol successively. Flavonoid complex is prepared from alcoholic fraction after solvent distilling off and complex of iridoids and polysaccharides are prepared from an aqueous fraction.
