FIELD: medicine, sanitation. SUBSTANCE: one should place beforehand a video cassette and/or video- reproducing device in front of a patient with the purpose to create and keep the picture of mental video recording of alarming incident upon video film. Before mental using of video recording the subject of video cassette suggested should be divided into two stages. The first stage comes before the moment of culmination onset and second - up to the end of alarming incident at obtaining its negative aftereffects. Transformation of alarming incident should be carried out at the second stage only - beginning directly from the moment of culmination onset due to substituting the whole second stage of alarming incident with similar subject but with positive ending. Moreover, time to perform such a transformation is restricted with time diapason ranged 5 sec - 5 min. The present method enables to broaden area of its application in case of highly psychics-traumatizing incidents and, also, in curative impact upon patients with increased emotional capacity, upon artistic persons and those with post-traumatic stress syndrome and persons after lethality of their nearest relatives, for victims of severe violence. It, also, enables the patient to achieve the level of self-education by not leading to negative aftereffects of "gluing" negative perception with sound, color, subject and situation.
